Esol students turn up en masse to lobby MPs

Between 500 and 1,000 UK Esol students and their teachers attended a mass lobby of Parliament in late February to protest proposed cuts in free Esol provision which would mean most students would have to pay a third of course fees from September. Tests for Doctors

Ireland’s Medical Council plans to start testing the English language skills of doctors from the EU who are seeking full (permanent) registration.
